Hi everyone!!! This month theme is Inspired by "INSECTS, BUGS & BUTTERFLIES"
Rules:
Only one entry allowed Only 
members are permitted to enter the competition You can enter any of your nature photographs/manipulations...they do not need to have been taken within the month of the competition The competition will begin on the first day of the month and end on the last day of the month (for the month of July) Submit your photograph/manipulation to the relevant folder (this month it is: Insects, Bugs & Butterflies Competition)
Voting will be based not necessarily on the 'quality' and detail of the actual image, but on how it encapsulates the monthly theme. So don't be afraid...no matter your experience...you are definitely welcome to join it!!! 
Instead of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd, we will be having a 1st place and 3 honourable mentions

Hello everyone,
sadly I had to decline some artworks over the past weeks and months. I don't have much time to spend here right now - some of you may wonder why submissions are taking so long, well, this is why! - and no one responded on my search for admins to help me out, so this is the current status quo and I don't think it will change any time soon.

Problems with submissions - solved :)
Hello everyone,
there were some problems with submissions to some of our folders in the fast few weeks.
I was able to fix them and now it should be possible to submit new devitations to every folder, except Featured, Past Competitions and Plants, Flowers and Fungi 1. :)
Thanks to all the members who pointed out the problems and therefore helped me solve it!

Plants, Flowers and Fungi folder nearly full!

we've got some new members in the past few weeks - a happy welcome to you all! :)
One of our folders is nearly full, so I opened "Plants, Flowers and Fungi 2" so new devitations can be added in there. Please contribute to this folder in the future, so I don't have to decline your submissions.
I also rearranged the animal folders a bit and opened more different ones.
Sometimes your submissions can be pending for some days, even one or two weeks. I can't change that, because I am very busy with many things outside deviantart. And so far no one has followed my request to help me as an admin in this group, so I manage the things in m

To all members: Please feel free to share your artworks with us! We are happy about every new photo in our gallery :)
I also want to make a little request: Please keep an eye on which folder you are submiting to. Recently I had to decline a lot of submissions because they were submitted to the wrong folder. I always comment why I decline a photo, but I don't have the time to rearrange all wrongly submitted pictures.
